Why We Exist

The reason for our mission

Every year, 170 children's hospitals across North America treat more than 17 million kids. These hospitals handle everything from broken arms to childhood cancer, from routine checkups to surgeries that last twelve hours. They're staffed by doctors and nurses who chose to spend their careers caring for children, and they never turn a family away, regardless of their ability to pay.

That kind of care doesn't fund itself. Insurance doesn't cover everything. Government programs fall short. These hospitals depend on donations to buy equipment, fund research, and provide care for families who can't afford it.

Four The Kids exists to help close that gap. We raise money for children's hospitals through golf events, community partnerships, and the generosity of people who believe every child deserves the best care possible. Every dollar we raise stays local, going directly to children's hospitals in communities across the country.

Our Story

Four brothers. One cause.

We're the Jennings brothers. Golf has always been our thing. Weekend rounds with Dad. Heated matches that turned into running jokes. Group texts arguing about who owes who a rematch. It's been the backdrop of our lives together.

But we've also shared something harder. At different times, our family has relied on the care of children's hospitals. We've been the ones pacing in hallways, hoping for good news, watching strangers in scrubs become the most important people in our world. You don't forget what that feels like. And you don't forget the people who helped you through it.

We wanted to do something about it.

Not write a check and move on, but actually build something. Something that brought people together. Something that felt like who we are.

Four The Kids is what we came up with. Golf events where people show up, have a great time, and leave knowing they made a real difference for kids and families going through the hardest moments of their lives.

This is personal for us. We hope it becomes personal for you too.

Play Yellow

Four The Kids is proud to support Play Yellow, the charitable initiative founded by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus in partnership with the PGA Tour and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Play Yellow started with a simple idea: golfers love their game, and they want to use it for good. It has grown into a nationwide movement, uniting golf courses, tournaments, and players around a shared mission to support children's hospitals.

Since its founding, Play Yellow has helped raise millions of dollars for the 170 member hospitals of Children's Miracle Network. These funds support everything from life-saving equipment to child life specialists who help kids cope with difficult treatments.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Children's hospitals rely on charitable donations for a significant portion of their funding. Insurance and government programs don't cover everything, especially for families who can't afford to pay out of pocket. Donations help fill that gap, ensuring that every child gets the care they need regardless of their family's ability to pay.
